Let's taste some "re-innovation"
Cause foods we cook with our roommates have their own kind of finger licking taste.
For "re-innovative" paneer
Serve for 2
Amul Paneer- 1 packet
Potato- 2-3
Capsicum- 1 small
Onion- 1 and half
Chilli- 2 to 3
Coriander leaves- for garnishing
Mustard oil- as required.
Milk/milk powder-a small cup
Salt and sugar to taste
Butter- 4 -5 tb sp
Tomato- 1pc
Ginger garlic paste-1 and half tea spoon
Spices:
Garam masala dust
Black pepper
Aloo dum masala(if required)
Lal mirch
Turmeric powder
Procedure:
Cut the potatoes in quarters and deep fry it in oil with salt and tumeric powder.
Chop the onions. Slice the capsicum, tomato and chillies into small pieces. Take out the refrigerate paneer and cut it into cubes and marinate it with salt and water for atleast 15minutes.
Then,
Butter fry the paneer cubes with black pepper and half tea spoon sugar until it turns golden.
On an another pan, heat 2tb sp oil. Add 2 cardamom, chopped onions, 1 and half tea spoon Ginger garlic paste, and sliced capsicum, tomato and chillies and fry it until it's cooked. Then add the fried paneers and potatoes. Mix it well. Add a cup of milk.
(In case of milk powder, mix the powder with warm water). Cover it with a lid and leave it for 8 to 10mins.
Add aloo dum masala, black pepper and garam masala dust. Mix it well. Cover it and leave for other 2 mins. Garnish it with coriander leaves and butter on the top and chilli. Serve hot.
Fried rice:
With the tasty "re-innovative" paneer, who would like to have plain rice๐
Lets do some experiment with our cooked plain rice. Chop a half carrot, a half capsicum, a half onion (the other half i used it in the paneer ๐).
Heat oil, add 3 cardamom, 2 cloves, 2 cinnamon and 2 bay leaves. Fry the carrot, capsicum and onion. Add peas. Fry it with salt and sugar to taste and black pepper.
Add the rice and stir it.
On an other pan heat oil, break the egg directly into the pan,add some salt and stir it continuously till it dries up. Add it with the rice. Stir and mix it.
Serve hot
