Met her today. She is just 8. Interestingly she wants to study. She wants to go school. She doesn't want to beg but her mother forced her to do so. I asked her why do you need money? She replied "I want food. I want to eat. I want to grow up and i will then go to school because my mother said we need money for that" Is this corruption or just ignorance? Don't you think they also have equal rights for education? Why do they beg if there are free primary education in India?
